Overview

The Autism Education Network is a parent support organization that provides information and training about best practices in autism treatment. We host an annual education conference every April plus we provide access to a community-based distance learning center, message-board and the first of its kind matchmaking service for families affected by autism spectrum disorders.

We know that autism is a complex disorder. We know how hard it can be to find resources and to secure appropriate special education services and biomedical treatment. We know the frustration and anxiety that builds with the responsibility to care for a child or children with autism.

We also know the hope that comes from connecting with another human being that understands the day-in-the-life of autism. We know because we live this life every day.

That is why the Autism Education Network created the first of its kind matchmaking service and searchable database called Parent Directory. Parent Directory is a password protected biographical profile which enables authorized and registered families to search the database by school district, county, city, zip code, age of child, diagnosis of your child and more.

Our resource center also includes downloads and links to autism–related articles, organizations, newsletters and more. We've also included a list of recommended books for download or sale.

If you have questions that are not answered in our resource section, feel free to us and we will do our best to help you.
