Policy for CEUs
CONTINUING EDUCATION SPONSORS
Continuing education for this event was co-sponsored by The Autism Education Network, The Institute for Continuing Education, The May Institute and The California Speech & Hearing Association.
Continuing education certificates will be mailed directly to professionals as follows:
Speech Therapists and Audiologists will receive certificates from the California Speech & Hearing Assocation.
Board Certified Behavior Analysts will receive certificates from The May Institute.
All other professionals including California nurses, social workers, couselors, MFTs, and psychologists will receive certificates from the Institute of Continuing Education.
CEU Application – NO ADDITIONAL FEES
Continuing education credit is awarded on a session-by-session basis, with full attendance required and verified through sign-in and sign-out forms. Once the CEU application is completed, each professional will receive a CE packet that includes complete instructions including sign-in/out requirements. There is no continuing education processing fee.

The California Speech-Language-Hearing Association (CSHA) is approved by the Continuing Education Board of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) to provide continuing education activities in speech-language
pathology and audiology. This program is offered for 6 CEUs (Intermediate Level; Professional Area). ASHA CE Provider approval does not imply endorsement of course content, specific products, or clinical procedures.
This program meets the qualifications for 6 hours of continuing professional development credit for speech-language pathologists and audiologists as required by the California Speech-Language-Pathology and Audiology Board. (CSHA PDP #1)
Please note that continuing education credit for SLPs is available for Saturday, November 1st 2008 lectures ONLY as listed in the schedule of events under the heading Exclusive SLP Training Room 209/210). SLPs are encouraged to attend lectures Sunday, November 2nd 2008 but NO CEUs are available for SLPs.

The May Institute – CEUs for BCBA Professionals
The May Institute is approved by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) to grant Continuing Education Credits. A total of (6) CEUs are available for BCBA professionals as follows: Two (2) Continuing Education Credits for BCBA professionals will be granted for lectures presented by both Dr. Bridget A. Taylor and Dr. Robert F. Putnam. One (1) Continuing Education Credit for BCBA professionals will be granted for the lectures presented by Dr. Susan Wilczynski and Dr. Pamela Wright. Continuing education for this event is co-sponsored by The Autism Education Network and The Institute for Continuing Education. The program offers 6.75 contact hours for November 1st and 7.00 contact hours for November 2nd.
Continuing education credit is awarded on a session-by-session basis, with full attendance required for the sessions attended. Continuing education packets may be picked up at the registration desk at the Conference. These CE packets will include complete instructions on making application for continuing education credit and sign-in/out requirements. There is no continuing education processing fee. Credit is offered as listed below.
