about

Overview

According to the Center of Disease Control, autism is diagnosed in 1 out of 150 children today making AUTISM more prevalent than childhood cancers, multiple sclerosis and cystic fibrosis combined.

But there is hope. The Autism Education Network web-site includes free information about special education rights as well as information about treatment options and education methods.

Our primary purpose is to provide information and training to families and professionals regarding best practices in autism treatment.

Our signature outreach program is an annual education conference. This year, Collaboration in Autism Treatment will take place at the Santa Clara Convention Center on Saturday, November 1st 2008.

In the near future, our e-Training Education Center will offer video presentations on-demand of the most respected autism experts in the field of education and behavioral science.

The Autism Education Network also works with professional organizations to develop community-based programs and we coordinate clinical outreach services so that local families can access treatment options not generally available in the Silicon Valley.
